girls the san fran band are about to release their new ep “broken dreams club” next week, and though the lead free-in-exchange-for-your-email mp3 hit the internet a month ago, im only getting around to farting about it now.

the track “heartbreaker” is every bit girls’ indie hipster blues pop with heart-strewn sorrow, though the band promise a more refined polish which “heartbreaker” fully supports. the polish takes nothing away… melodies and croon are fully familiar and songwriting is far above your typical lo-fi indie fuzz. its just how we like our girls.
